Cajun Cuisine and Lots of Culture
Named by French explorers as “the Red Stick City,” Baton Rouge is where Cajun and Creole cultures come together. Ask our colleagues what the highlights are of Baton Rouge and they’ll tell you it’s the food, arts and people. Cajun cuisine is the star of the food scene and you’ll find countless opportunities for culture including the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, Baton Rouge Gallery – Center for Contemporary Art and the Louisiana State University (LSU) Museum of Art. Southern hospitality is a real thing in Baton Rouge, as one of our colleagues shared, “You’d have a tough time finding a more welcoming city. There’s kindness around every corner.”
A Hotbed for Tech Talent
Our Baton Rouge Development Center is diverse, with colleagues in many different roles, including business analysts, penetration testers and .NET developers. The center continues to grow thanks to the large number of students coming from the city’s many respected colleges and universities including LSU and Southern University. Strong partnerships with the Baton Rouge Area Chamber and Louisiana Economic Development help us in our efforts to attract the top Louisianan tech talent.
