Enhancing Scalability and Performance for Mobile Insurance Solutions

challenge

Struggling to Meet the Demands of a Growing Mobile User Base

A leading global provider of comprehensive risk management solutions for the auto, lifestyle and housing protection sectors, needed to modernize their global sales and service applications to enhance scalability and performance. Their main business is providing their platform to corporate clients, for them to customize and use to manage the risks of property damage, liability, financial loss, theft and natural disasters. Their largest mobile partner had demands that our client’s existing offshore provider failed to meet. Plus, they identified an emerging problem of an unsatisfying user experience and decreased operational efficiency. They needed to get help quickly in order to develop a scalable, high-performance solution that could enhance their operational efficiency and avoid losing their largest mobile customer.

solution

Comprehensive Modernization

Since we had an established relationship with this client, it brought a high level of trust to the engagement. We quickly set an MSA in place to make sure we could work seamlessly together, and got to work on the roadmap, prioritization, and development. The fact that we could move fast, and we were able to prove a good development pace was key to forging our partnership. We assembled a team and quickly began delivering value in critical areas for the client. We worked on updating the existing risk-management platform to support scalable and high-performance operations, ensuring good practices to meet user demands, designing user-friendly interfaces, modernizing legacy systems and upgrading outdated systems to support modern applications and technologies.
