Financial Services Client Expands Customer Portfolio and Increases Sales Through Product Integration

challenge

Product Expertise and Additional Capacity Needed for MVP

HPS, a healthcare technology and services organization offering solutions to enhance the consumer healthcare billing and payments experience, landed a deal to integrate a New York City-based health insurance provider’s platform into their proprietary billing software. They have a very lean development team and needed to add capacity quickly to assist with this integration and drive toward a successful MVP. They also needed to expand their core offering to include out of network functionality (from previously only in-network), thus expanding their potential customer portfolio exponentially.

A Thorough Integration and Overhaul of Their Core Product

We assembled a .NET fusion team to expand our client’s development capacity, where we fully integrated the health insurance platform’s landscape with our client’s core product. In addition, we overhauled this product to allow for out of network functionality. We took the health insurance platform transition team, with all of the product knowledge they acquired, and transitioned them to assist. We also added a Scrum Master to increase throughput.
