ATLANTA, Dec. 10, 2015 – Rural Sourcing, a leading domestic IT sourcing company focused on cost-effective onshore software development and support, announced today at the Albuquerque Economic Development (AED) Quarterly Investors luncheon, the new location and director of its software development center opening next year in Albuquerque, NM.
The new office will be located at 723 Silver Avenue, in the old Southern Union Gas Company building and most recently home to the Flying Star. Designed by southwestern architect John Gaw Meem and built in 1951, it’s one of the earliest international style buildings in Albuquerque. The building was added to the New Mexico State Register of Cultural Properties in 2003 and the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.
In addition, Mark W. Morris has been named as Development Center Director, and will oversee the new location as well as the hiring of over 120 jobs for the new center. Prior to joining the company, Mark served as Managing Director at LiquidHub, which acquired ClosedWon, where he was also the co-founder and CEO. With over 12 years of entrepreneurial and Salesforce experience, he has a track record of delivering innovative cloud-based IT solutions to the most complex enterprises in the world.
“Mark brings strong leadership qualities to this role as well as tremendous experience in developing high-performance teams” said Monty Hamilton, CEO at Rural Sourcing. “He will be an integral part of our growth here as well as in the positioning of this location as the next high-tech hotbed just east of Silicon Valley.”
