Rural Sourcing Hires Robin Stenzel as Chief People Officer

ATLANTA (December 14, 2021) – Rural Sourcing, the leading provider of onshore outsourced digital engineering, has hired Robin Stenzel as Chief People Officer. This is a new role for Rural Sourcing that will provide leadership and guidance for Colleague Services, Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development to support Rural Sourcing’s entire colleague lifecycle.

Rural Sourcing has distinguished itself through its approach to building a colleague-oriented culture and has already won numerous national and local workplace awards. Creating the Chief People Officer role and hiring someone of Stenzel’s experience is a further indication of the company’s commitment to building a world-class technology organization.

“As Rural Sourcing expands nationally, the importance of a well-defined and dynamic people strategy is critical to ensure the company’s ability to scale to meet client needs,” said Ingrid Curtis, President at Rural Sourcing. “Over her career, Robin has proven that she can drive change at the highest level. She is the right leader at the right time to position the company for continued growth and success.”

Stenzel has more than 25 years of experience connecting business and people strategies to bring better results for both the organization and its employees. Previously, Stenzel served as Chief People Officer at Outmatch, a leader in the hiring experience space. She has also served in HR leadership roles at WestRock, Hitachi Consulting and Delta Air Lines. Based in Atlanta, Stenzel is active in her community and serves on the board of SHRM-Atlanta.

“Rural Sourcing’s mission really resonates with me,” said Robin Stenzel, Chief People Officer at Rural Sourcing. “I was born in Milwaukee and grew up 45 minutes from Fort Wayne. Growing up, there were few opportunities for a tech career in these communities, forcing many to move to other parts of the country. As a result, I have a deep appreciation for how Rural Sourcing creates opportunities for individuals to build a career working with the latest technology, while staying in the community they love. I’m excited to support our colleagues throughout their careers with Rural Sourcing.”

Rural Sourcing has seen significant growth in recent years. Despite the challenges of COVID-19, the company achieved double-digit growth in 2020. In August 2021, the company announced its first acquisition: Wisconsin-based digital business and technology consultancy Centare. In November 2021, the company announced it’s expanding to new cities, making Baton Rouge, LA and Buffalo, NY Rural Sourcing’s ninth and tenth centers.
