Now that the application has been broken out into serverless Lambda functions in conjunction with API Gateway, stability has improved immensely and the application is able to easily scale alongside rapid business growth.

The solution uses AWS API Gateway, AWS Lambda, AWS CloudFront, Step Functions, Cognito, CloudWatch, S3 and various other supporting services. The application was deployed and maintained by using CI/CD and DevOps concepts to allow a microservices approach to developing and updating specific components over time.
